Yamatani (山谷 "Yamatani") is a minor character in MF Ghost. He serves as the mechanic and booth representative for Kakeru Yashio and Nozomi Kitahara in Year 4 of MFG.

- His last name remains unknown.
- On a Twitter/X post created by Yamatani's Voice Actor, Ryan Negrón, he incorrectly spelt Yamatani's name as "Yamaya"[1]
- This mistake could be due to the fact that the kanji used for Yamatani's name (山谷) Can also be translated as "Sanya" from Japanese to English with the use of machine-translators such as Google Translate, meaning that the misspelling could be a combonation of Yamatani's actual name, and the machine-translation.
