The Cost of Courage (勇気の代償 Yūki no daishō) is the twenty-third episode of the MF Ghost anime adaptation, alongside it being the 11th episode of the anime's Second Season.
Synopsis[]
Kanata's course record inspired his young rivals. Sawatari and Beckenbauer broke course records one after another. The qualifying race in Manazuru became an unprecedented high-level battle. However, the day before the expectations for the final race were rising... Kanata went out with Ren and encountered unbelievable trouble. Ren fell off the train platform. What was the price Kanata paid for his courage to save her?

- During Sena's qualifying run, the English Subtitles and Dub incorrectly say that Kanata qualified 12th at Odawara, instead of 15th.
