Update (アップデート, appudeーto) is the tenth episode of the MF Ghost anime adaptation.
This episode also serves as the first episode of the "Round 2 Qualification and Race Arc" of the series.
Synopsis[]
One night after the heated battle, Kanata returns to his daily life. Ren tries to tell Kanata that she's MFG Angel No.7, but Ogata interferes and she misses the opportunity. Ogata had invited Hiroya Okuyama from Auto Shop Spiral to strengthen Kanata's Toyota 86. At Kanata's strong request, it was decided that the update would be done without touching the power unit. Okuyama could see the influence of his mentor, Takumi Fujiwara, in Kanata's attitude towards running. Kanata also started a Part Time job at SilverStone Cafe.

Differences from the Manga[]
- In the manga, Kakeru and Nozomi's discussion happens outside directly after the first round is over. Whilst in the anime, their discussion happens in a cafe between the first and second rounds.
Trivia[]
- This is the only episode of the anime's first season that lacks any eurobeat songs.
