Shintaro Natsume (夏目 慎太郎 "Natsume Shintarō") is a racer who participates in MFG. He drives a #11 BMW M3 and is ranked 20th in Year 4.

Not much is known about Natsume except his participation in MFG Year 3, where he placed 11th in the rankings.
MFG Year 4 Performance[]
Round 1[]
Shintaro places 9th in the qualifiers for the opening round.
In the first lap of the final race he got passed by Kaito Akaba. After that he made a mistake when trying to catch up to him and crashed his BMW, forcing him to drop out.
Rounds 2-5[]
Natsume is never shown or mentioned after Round 1, which means he failed to qualify for every round or left the competition entirely.

- Shintaro is one of three named MFG drivers to never appear physically, the others being Sota Tsukamoto and Takamitsu Kyogoku.
- During the scene where his M3 get damaged in Turn05, his lines from the manga were not included, thus making him the 1st "Divine Fifteen" driver to not have a speaking role in the anime.
- He is one of the only 3 “Divine Fifteen" drivers to have retired during a race (the other drivers being Daigo Oishi and Jackson Taylor), and the only driver to never finish a race during Year 4 of MFG.
- Shintaro has the biggest drop-in-performance during Year 4 of MFG, as his rank went down 9 places between the 2 years.
- He's never addressed by his first name in the anime.
- Although he is not seen officially, in the anime at Turn04, there is a racer who has brown hair in a reddish racing suit who doesn’t look like the other Divine Fifteen drivers behind Fujin Ishigami and next to Jackson Taylor during the introduction, this could be Shintaro himself.
