The 4x4 Attack (4WDの攻勢 "4WD no kōsei") is the sixty-fourth chapter of MF Ghost.

Summary[]

As Tanaka asks what a driver should do in rainy conditions, Ikeda suggests that making calm decisions is the key when battling other opponents in rainy conditions due to lower grip on the tires and water spray reducing visibility.

All MFG Angels are in line as the 15 cars head out of the starting line. During the same moment, Mami is proud to see Kanata as she had developed a crush on him whilst Ren wishes for him to have a good race and also believes that when Kanata get serious during a race, he becomes very good at it. All 15 cars go through the tollbooth, until the final car, #23, passes through the gate.

As the race starts, we see Daigo, Yudai and Shun get past their opponents in front of them by utilizing the 4WD system of their cars. As Yudai pulls away from Taylor, he believes that with the MFG regulations Ryo Takahashi had worked on, 4WDs usually lose out on dry roads, but in the rain, the 4WD system takes full advantage. Due to this result, Yudai is confident that with his 4WD Audi R8, he can finish high and earn a lot of money.

With multiple position changes, Moe and Mami were called in to change the names on the leaderboard. As Moe was called in, she was slightly surprised to hear about the position changes as the race had just started.
