The Simulation (シミュレーション "Shimyurēshon") is the thirty-ninth chapter of MF Ghost.
Summary[]
Ogata is scared about Kanata going after the #8 Porsche 911 driven by Jackson Taylor, especially due to the insane price difference between the 2 cars. Meanwhile, Kakeru asks Yamatani how far away the 86 is, with Yamatani telling him to focus as both him and Nozomi are in the Death Zone. However, Kakeru tells Yamatani that it'll bother him more, with Yamatani telling him that Kanata passed the #10 Lexus LC500 driven by Emile Hänninen, and is now 15 seconds ahead of them, which shocks Kakeru as the dense fog would hinder every other driver.
As Ogata and Kanata continue there countdown, Ogata realises that Kanata is doing these voice countdowns to triangulate the position of the approaching car ahead, so he can easily overtake it. Meanwhile, Taylor's booth representive warns him on the incoming 86, with Taylor thinking his booth representative is just bluffing due to the thick fog of the Odawara Pike Peak's Death Zone. Kanata then managed to catch up to the 911 Carrera, shocking Taylor as they begin battling full throttle through the thick fog.
