Teleporting (瞬間移動 "Shunkan idō") is the thirty-sixth chapter of MF Ghost.
Summary[]
As the 86 catches up to the Exige and 4C, Kakeru gets nervous as if Kanata passes both him and Nozomi before Odawara Pikes Peak's Death Zone, they won't be able to catch back up to the 86 before the end of the race. Kakeru gets desperate and instructs Nozomi to initiate a Blocking Formation, but before Nozomi could even begin, Kanata quickly overtakes the 4C. Kakeru then instructs Nozomi to initiate a Sandwich Formation to keep the 86 at-bay before the Kamaboko Straight.
At the same time, Ogata notices that the Focus Flag on the 86 disappeared when he caught up to the Yaji-Kita gang, and notes that the Exige and 4C are blocking Kanata from moving past them. During the battle, Kanata recalls a piece of advice from Takumi Fujiwara, which is that no matter how tight the course looks, you can execute a pass proving there's enough width for 3 cars on the road. Kanata then notes that the road's about three and a half car widths, and notes that he'll need to overtake the Exige quickly as to not burn up more grip on his tires. As they approach the next corner, the 86 quickly fakes going on the inside and instead moves onto the outside of the corner, thus gaining the inside advantage on the Exige as they enter the next hairpin.
