War of Attrition (消耗戦 "Shōmō-sen") is the thirty-third chapter of MF Ghost.

Summary[]

Yudai Sakamoto and his Audi R8 manages to catch back up to Shun Aiba and his GT-R, with Kogashiwa noting that the GT-R is wearing down his front tires to the point that he's starting to understeer. Aiba however notes that he's not letting go of his provisional podium. At the same time, Kaito Akaba's booth representative notes that he'll be able to catch the 3rd place group at the end of the race. Akaba notes that he'll catch the #7 Mercedes-AMG GT S driven by Yosuke Ohtani first. Near the back of the field, The Exige, 4C and 86 continue there battle down towards the lakeside, as Tanaka notes that it'll be a battle of pride between these 3 young racers. Kakeru tells Nozomi to focus on every corner, which angers Nozomi as she tells her blood-relative that she's not as weak as he think she is.

Meanwhile at the MFG Angel's paddock, Kyoko touches Ren's wasteline, noting how slim it is. Ren then notes that Kyoko's waist is also slim, until Kyoko breathes out, revealing her more rounder waist. Kyoko then asks Ren if she's on a sports team, with Ren replying that she use to be on a track team during Middle School, with Kyoko noting that it also explains the muscle in her legs. Kyoko then asks if she has a boyfriend, to which Ren notes that she doesn't. Ren then asks the same question to Kyoko, in-which Kyoko also responds back that she does not currently, but there's someone that she likes who she hasn't asked before 2 years in a row.

Back at the Odawara Pikes Peak, Daigo Oishi is trying to pass Jackson Taylor's Porsche 911, with Daigo getting angrier by the minute, as he notes that he can't stay behind Taylor forever.
