The Race Begins to Move (動きはじめる "Ugoki hajimeru") is the thirty-second chapter of MF Ghost.
Summary[]
Kaito Akaba and Takuya Yanagida are in a dogfight for 6th place. as they approach the first corner of Sector 2, Akaba uses the bigger body of his Ferrari 488 to nudge Yanagida's BMW M6 out of the way. Meanwhile, Daigo Oishi is trying to find where Akaba is, with his booth representative telling him that he's 9 seconds ahead and has gotten ahead of 2 cars, with his booth man telling him to focus on Taylor's 911 in-front of him, which triggers Daigo as he believes there cars make the same amount of Horsepower. More and more cars begin entering section 2, with the 86 6 seconds behind the Exige and 4C. Further behind, Kazuhiro Maezono rounds out the remaining drivers still left in the race, with Kogashiwa noting that he might have problems with tire degredation, due to his Civic Type R being Front-Wheel-Drive. Tanaka then notes that last year, Maezono ran an NSX with the hybrid motors removed, but ran into software configuration problems throughout the season.
The Exige and 4C continue down Sector 2, with Kakeru noting that it is a really bumpy route from Mount Taiken to Lake Ashinoko. However, the 86 continues to catch up to the duo, making Kakeru wonder why he's able to keep up so quickly. Meanwhile, Beckenbauer begins pulling ahead of Ishigami, as the battle for 3rd place begins once again.

Notes & Trivia[]
- This chapter shares the same name as Chapter 126
- Daigo Oishi incorrectly states that his Huracán and Kaito Akaba's 488 are running the same amount of horsepower, despite Akaba's 488 actually making 60PS more than Daigo's Huracán
- Although, this could be Daigo exaggerating.
- Yoji Tanaka's mention of Maezono's NSX was not adapted into the anime, instead being repurposed for his qualifying run for Round 2.
