The Man in Car #4 (4号車の男 "4 Gōsha no otoko") is the thirtieth chapter of MF Ghost.
Summary[]
At the first section of Odawara Pikes Peak's final lap, Kaito Akaba manages to catch up to the #8 Porsche 911 driven by Jackson Taylor. Akaba then notes that in the qualifiers, his Ferrari 488 was having turbo problems due to a bad sensor, but he still managed to beat his time in Sector 3. Akaba then notes that's he's close to solving the regulations provided by Ryo Takahashi, and makes a pass on the 911. Meanwhile, Taylor notes that Akaba's one of MFG's 3 Elite drivers, with Beckenbauer being another one. However the last one who ranked 4th last year oddly did not attend this race.
Meanwhile, in Shibuya, Kouki Sawatari and his girlfriend, Sana, are walking through the city when Sana notes that an MFG race is being shown live on one of the many screens, and asks if that's a rerun, which Kouki denies, saying that it's a live broadcast. Sana then asks why Kouki isn't racing, with him answering that it's her birthday and that due to his ranking of 4th place in Year 3, he has loads of money to waste. Sana also notes about how she's nervous around Kouki, especially when she's comparing herself to the Angels, in-which Kouki brushes off, proclaiming his love for 2 things, racing, and 17 Year old girls.
Meanwhile, Beckenbauer continues his lead over Fujin Ishigami in Sector 1, with the Cayman keeping its place over the 911 GT3.
