The Angels' Job (エンジェルスのお仕事 "Enjerusu no oshigoto") is the twenty-first chapter of MF Ghost.
Summary[]
At the MFG Angel's scoreboard, Ren asks Kyoko about the leaderboard, and asks why it's needed with how cutting-edge MFG is, with Kyoko telling her to wait a bit. Moe Hamazaki gets called up to change the leader board, with the Angel Cam filming her, which shocks Ren. Kyoko then tells Ren that the "Angel Cam" gets a ton of views every race, and that the cameraman isn't shy about getting close to the Angel's body, Ren then says to Kyoko than she just thought that the angels were free after the mini-concert until the podium ceremony, with Kyoko saying that she's got a lot to learn. Uehara then asks Moe a question about which driver she's rooting for, with Moe saying that she's rooting for all of them, something that gets the fans all joyous about. Kyoko then says to herself that whilst Moe acts all cute, her actual personality is the complete opposite. Ren then notes about how challenging being an MFG Angel really is.
Back at the Odawara Pikes Peak, the Exige, 4C and 86 all enter the lakeside, with Kakeru noting that he'll be able to build up a gap here before they get to Sector 3. At the front, the battle between Fujin Ishigami and his 911 GT3, and Michael Beckenbauer and his Cayman continues on. Ishigami notes how humiliating it is to be battling against a Porsche Cayman, and gets annoyed due to Beckenbauer's training at the Porsche Academy. Meanwhile, Beckenbauer questions Ishigami if he has a right to drive the GT3, as it is Porsche's flagship model, and he notes about how divine Lars Kern's driving on the Nordschleife was back in Germany. Beckenbauer then wants to see if Ishigami has the right to drive the German's greatest masterpiece.
Kai notes on how Ishigami seems to be struggling, but notes that he'll try to use the best of his 911 GT3 to pull away from the Cayman in the uphill half of Section 2. Meanwhile, the battle between Shun Aiba and his GT-R and Yudai Sakamoto and his Audi R8 continue into the Hakone town, with Sakamoto noting that Shun's trying to get as far as he can without noting about his tire wear. Shun then tries to get past the Audi, noting that No.7's kiss belongs to him, which sends shivers down Ren's spine.
Meanwhile, Kaito Akaba and his Ferrari 488 manage to pass Shintaro Natsume and his BMW M3, with Tanaka noting that his next target is the #3 Lamborghini ahead of him.
