Two Days to Kanata's Entry (カナタ出走まであと2日 Kanata shussō made ato 2-nichi) is the fourth chapter of MF Ghost.

Summary[]

While Beckenbauer's qualification run continues, Kanata and Shun are having gyudon for lunch. Shun learns that Kanata is 19 and that he can't use chopsticks.

The next day in Fujisawa, Kanata pays a visit to Ogata Cars. Ogata invites Kanata for some coffee and they discuss Japanese snacks, which Kanata deeply admires. They also discuss the 86 and Ogata confesses that he used to drive that car in MFG before, though his performance was quite poor. For him, tinkering cars is better than racing them.

After that they go for a walk towards the ocean and discuss some regulations of MFG. Ogata is mentioning that MFG doesn't allow practice runs and also talks about the process of getting special MFG tires and the difference between the brands. Kanata is especially concerned with the latter, saying that he can waste a whole set of tires in one run.

In Odawara, during the 5th day of preliminaries, it's Fujin Ishigami's qualification run. Being a champion for the past 2 years, he is confident and is making the car do everything for him. Two viewers of the livestream discuss the possibility of having a battle of two Porsches, Beckenbauer vs. Ishigami.
