Three Days to Kanata's Entry (カナタ出走まであと３日 Kanata shussō made ato 3-nichi) is the third chapter of MF Ghost.
Summary[]
The chapter starts off with Shun calling MFG PR department in hopes of learning information about Number 7. He is speaking with a female worker, who hangs up on him after he gets aggressive. Fumihiro passes by the worker's office and talks to her about the caller and true identity of Number 7.
At Fujisawa, Ren is going to school, when she meets Wakana. Wakana asks her about the photo of Kanata that Ren promised her to take. After Ren shows the photo, Wakana grabs her phone and shows it to their classmates. Seeing the girls adore Kanata's looks, Ren is contemplating if Kanata is indeed handsome.
At Odawara, we see Kaito Akaba's qualification run during the 4th day of preliminaries. His car is having troubles with turbo pressure, so he is forced to go slow. Two viewers of the livestream notice that and have a discussion about performance of Ferrari in different motorsports.
Back to Shun, who tries to learn any info about Number 7 at MFG's Odawara office, speaking directly to Yamashita. While doing that, he notices Kanata, who is signing some documents, and realizes that he's a rookie in MFG. They later meet at the front entrance, where Shun introduces himself aa #9 ranked driver, which makes Kanata recognize him. After Shun learns that Kanata is from England, he decides to treat Kanata to a special Japanese meal.
Back to qualifications, where we see Michael Beckenbauer's run. His performance is great, but he realizes that MFG is too boring for him and that he wants to go back to Germany. Kanata and Shun are watching his run in a restaurant and Shun tells him about Michael's origins and his performance during Year 3 of MFG, making notes that he doesn't like that guy.
